Set in 1960s Baltimore, Hairspray follows Tracy Turnblad, a big-hearted teen with big dreams—and even bigger hair—who longs to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show. When her dream becomes reality, Tracy uses her newfound spotlight to speak up for what’s right, challenging segregation and standing up for inclusion, self-love, and change through the power of music and movement.

With an irresistible blend of catchy songs, high-energy choreography, and colorful characters, Hairspray is a joyful, heartwarming celebration of individuality and standing up for others. It’s a story about finding your voice, shaking up the status quo, and proving that anyone—no matter their size, background, or hairstyle—can make a difference.
